October is just around the corner and that also means Halloween is coming soon as well. For all the fashionistas out there, dressing up as a zombie or witch is pretty overrated. We all want to still want to dress up but just not in the typical Halloween fashion. Now, there is so many different options and with the magic up makeup, we can achieve anything for this Halloween.
The wonderful thing of makeup is the ability to change or modify your look without doing something too drastic. A great guide to follow for multiple looks you can rock for Halloween is beauty guru, Michelle Phan. She has tutorials ranging from a Gatsby 1920s inspired look to a Glinda from “Oz: The Great and Powerful” to a look inspired by Daenerys from “Game of Thrones”. She has so many tutorials up, that you’ll have a field day trying to pick just one to try out.

One look that I was particular gravitated towards was from South Korean girl group, f(x). This look was from their 3rd album “Red Light” and I absolutely loved it. It’s definitely easy for all fashionistas to replicate. The highlight of this look is having very heavy eye makeup on whichever eye you want to choose and having the other relativity makeup free minus some mascara. This look will definitely have people turning their heads. The simplicity yet, dramatic contrast of this look is something any fashionista can rock.
Who will you be?
The great thing about Halloween is the freedom to dress up as anyone or anything you want. For most fashionistas, this is your opportunity to dress up and channel as your fashion icon. Absolutely love Audrey Hepburn? Find a chic, black classic dress and throw on some pearls for an easy “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” look. Obsessed with Vogue and would love to be Anna Wintour for a night? Why not dress up like the fashion famous lady.
The possibilities are endless for this upcoming Halloween! The fashion and entertainment industry has so many different iconic looks that are just waiting to be replicated on this holiday. Remember to have fun putting your look together and experiment with your makeup. I hope everyone has a fabulous Halloween!
