From the moment, KpopMe, the producers of Apink’s Pink Memory tour, announced that Apink would be touring in the U.S., I knew this tour would be amazing. I was lucky enough to be able to attend the Dallas, Texas tour stop, which was held at the Verizon Wireless Theater in Grand Prairie. The excitement of finally getting to see a K-Pop girl group tour in the U.S. was amazing because so far it’s only been guy groups coming here. Needless to say, Apink definitely held their own and created some amazing memories with not only fans in Dallas but fans everywhere.
The show started off with Apink singing some of their hit songs “Remember”, “Mr. Chu” and “Good Morning Baby” and the crowd definitely shows APink just how glad and excited they were to see them. With loud fan chants, APink light sticks illuminating the theater and fans waving around big fans with their bias’ (their favorite member) faces on them, Dallas was showing Apink their A game.
Because this followed more of a showcase type show, Apink answered some questions by the fans and also played a game of “What’s in the Box”, which was beyond hilarious. These girls have such fun and energetic personalities that you just can’t help but want to know more about them and listen to their music. Also you could tell that they really love and appreciate their fans. All night the girls were interacting with their fans and giving out some major fan service.
In all, I really hope Apink gets to come back and do another tour in North America and maybe next time a bigger set list and more games! I would love to see them again most definitely. I would also like to add that having gone to other K-Pop shows in the past, KpopMe were very well organized and helpful. There might have been some tiny happenings here and there but overall everything went very smoothly and I can’t wait for them to bring some more artists, especially to Dallas and maybe even Austin next time!
